A: Absolutely! It's required (with the exception of minor work such as doors, specific mason work, cleanings, waterproofing & the like).
Q: I'm so confused, there are so many places to buy stoves now, from large department stores and garden shops to dealers like yourself. How do I make a decision on which company I want to do business with?
A: Answer these questions and you'll have your answer: Are the other stores employees performing the installations and pulling permits? Are they having the work to non professionals without permits? Our employees are our installers and are directly responsible for a quality installation. Ask yourself- Do I want to buy a high effieciency heating appliance with a Long Term warranty from a company who only provides a Short Term sale but no service? At Firefox, we sell, install and service all our units. Our Employees are fully trained and we are licensed with the State of New Jersey.
Q: I've been scammed by other chimney companys and contractors. Why should I trust you?
A: We have been owner owned & operated for over 25 years. We are state licensed and pull permits on all jobs that require one. Our integrity & determination for 100% customer satisfaction is priority. We don't dissapear when there is a problem, we come out, assess it and correct it.
Q: How can I prevent myself from being scammed?
A: If any chimney sweep offers you an inspection & or cleaning for $50- You've been scammed. Think- what reputable company can send 2 guys on a 1/2 ride to someone's house; unload & set up a ladder; check out a chimney and clean it? All this for $50?! Look in the back of the truck, my guess is that they happen to have a spare liner that they can do today. You won't hear the word "Permit" out of them!
